Summary of Responsibilities
The primary purpose of the Electrical Maintenance Technician I role is to provide essential support in the preventative, corrective, and troubleshooting maintenance activities for electrical equipment and systems throughout the facility. This entry-level position is responsible for assisting more experienced technicians in performing basic maintenance tasks, adhering to plant procedures, safety protocols, and operational policies.
Key objectives include accurately following work assignments, approved procedures, and supervisory instructions to carry out maintenance activities safely and efficiently. The Electrical Maintenance Technician I plays a crucial role in maintaining the proper functioning and reliability of electrical systems by conducting routine tasks such as component replacements, cleaning, and inspections.
Education and Experience
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED.
Entry-level position, so no direct work experience may be required.
However, some prior experience working with electrical systems, tools, or in a maintenance environment can be beneficial.
Preferred Qualifications:
Completion of a vocational or technical training program in electrical maintenance, electronics, or a related field is preferred.

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday. 6:30 AM – 4:00 PM Some nights and weekend work may be required. Employees are also subject to call-outs as needed.

Primary Functions

Supports more experienced technicians in troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical issues
Completes required training and certifications related to electrical safety and maintenance procedures
