Come be a part of the future of clean energy. Summary of Responsibilities Supervise multi-disciplined, multi-skilled Maintenance personnel (electrical, mechanical, and maintenance support). Develop and implement various maintenance programs, procedures and activities at URENCO USA. Utilizing supervisory and craft knowledge, independently lead and direct maintenance tasks to maintain function and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment. Provide leadership to maintenance personnel and manage daily operational and maintenance needs, coordinate activities and communicate updated information to management. Accountable for the supervision and leadership of site maintenance activities in a cost-effective manner while ensuring safety standards of self and team with an emphasis on industrial, plant and team safety standards, while maintaining compliance with nuclear regulatory standards and applicable Technical Specifications, Quality Assurance Procedures and Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) facility licenses. This requires oversight of the planning and scheduling process to factor in field knowledge and experience, ensuring the safest and most cost-effective work strategy is selected, and maintaining accountability and productivity at a high level. Education and Experience

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of working experience

  • Years of experience: 5+ years in a maintenance or engineering leadership position within an organization 

Preferred

  • Education: Bachelor of Science in a Technical discipline

  • Years of experience: 7+ years in a maintenance or engineering leadership position within an organization

  • Location: Urenco USA, Eunice, NM
  • Schedule: 9/80 work schedule; some nights and weekends required; on-call as needed
  • Travel: Up to 20%
  • Security Clearance: CAA Access and L or Q level security clearance required

Primary Functions

  • Supervise activities of multi-skilled maintenance staff, including training, scheduling, and evaluations.
  • Ensure safety compliance with IROFS, radiological, chemical, and industrial safety standards.
  • Monitor equipment reliability and plan lifecycle strategies.
  • Establish team goals, provide technical/managerial guidance, and review performance.
  • Implement preventive maintenance and repair systems and equipment as needed.
  • Manage station scheduling with production, maintenance, and risk management needs.
  • Evaluate facility systems functionality and recommend solutions.
  • Contribute to operational and financial planning.
  • Support audits, inspections, and assessments.
  • Utilize corrective action processes to resolve unsafe or deficient conditions.
  • Develop policies, procedures, and guidelines supporting facility maintenance activities.
  • Ensure department functions meet all compliance and safety programs.
  • Fulfill duties of the Maintenance Manager as assigned.
  • Other duties as directed.
