UUSA Celebrates Halloween with the City of Eunice

01 November 2022

Representatives from UUSA transformed Eunice’s Berry Park into a haunted Halloween hollow during the city’s annual Halloween Safe Stops event on Monday, October 31.

Brave trick-or-treaters ventured through the haunted castle to claim their treats from UUSA’s Leader’s Assistants, Sonia Dominguez and Lyndell Owens, who played an essential role in facilitating UUSA’s participation in this year’s event. Thanks to Sonia and Lyndell’s hard work over the past month, all the giveaway bags were fully stocked with coloring books, savory snacks, and sneaky sweets – everything a young trick-or-treater could want! Even parents had something to look forward to at this year’s Halloween booth – a special “Happy Fall Y’All” mug, perfect for pumpkin-spiced beverages!

The UUSA team was excited to see all this year’s trick-or-treaters (and their sweet, spunky, spooky, and scary costumes) – and even recognized some familiar faces in the crowd.

“We love seeing our community come together like this each year,” stated Lisa Hardison, UUSA’s Manager of Communications and Public Relations. “We’re so glad to be able to participate to provide our local children with a safe way to celebrate Halloween.”
