We're proud to highlight our CEO, Karen Fili!

In August of 2022, UUSA's President & CEO, Karen Fili, recieved Profiles in Diversity Journal's Women Worth Watching in STEM award for her trailblazing work in the nuclear industry.

Each year, Profiles in Diversity Journal accepts nominations for women who are confident, authentic forward thinkers. Nominees are also high-performing, purpose-driven leaders who create value for other women and for the organizations where they contribute their talents.

Fili’s focus on inclusion and diversity, as well as her knowledge, experience and leadership style are what make her outstanding. She lives by the notion that “every conversation with the team, a colleague, co-worker, boss or employee is an experience for that person and creates beliefs about [them] as a person.”
