Urenco USA has initiated production of enriched uranium in its newest gas centrifuge cascade, marking the next phase of expansion at its enrichment facility in New Mexico.
At CERAWeek in Houston, Texas on Wednesday, March 12, Urenco’s Chief Commercial Officer, Laurent Odeh, shared a stage with executives from DOW, Google, and Amazon taking part in a critical conversation, “Tripling Nuclear Energy Capacity by 2050”.
On December 11, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) provided Urenco USA (UUSA) their approval of a License Amendment Request (LAR) to increase uranium enrichment levels up to 10% U-235.
